Have a relaxing Christmas morning by making this easy Christmas Breakfast casserole the night before and popping in the oven in the morning.
16 Slice(s) Bread, crust removed
6 Large Eggs
1 Package(s) Bacon or Ham
1/2 Teaspoon(s) Salt
1/2 Teaspoon(s) Pepper
1/2 Teaspoon(s) Dry mustard
1/4 Cup(s) Minced onions
1/4 Cup(s) Green pepper, chopped
1-2 Teaspoon(s) Worcestershire Sauce
3 Cup(s) Milk
1 Dash(es) Tobasco
1/4 Cup(s) Butter
2 Cup(s) Cornflakes, crushed
1 Package(s) Sharpe Chedder Cheese
Butter a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
Place 8 slices of bread in the bottom of the dish (cover bottom of dish compeletly).
Cover bread with slices of bacon or ham.
Cover with slices of cheese.
Add another layer of bread.
Beat eggs and add salt, pepper, dry mustard, onion, green pepper, worchestershire sauce, milk and tobasco.
Pour over bread and cover with plastic wrap .
Place in fridge.
In the morning: Preheat overn to 350 degrees.
Melt butter, pour over mixture in baking dish and cover with curshed cornflakes.
Bake uncovered for 1 hour.
